PyLadies Arua Refugee Python Web Development Workshop
The PyLadies Arua Refugee Python Web Development Workshop is a full-day, hands-on session designed to introduce refugees and underserved youth to Python and web development.
Organised by PyLadies Kampala, this workshop builds on the success of our 2025 bootcamp in Arua, which trained over 100 participants from refugee and university communities through practical, project-based learning.

Refugee communities in Arua face limited access to digital skills training and opportunities in the tech space. This workshop aims to bridge that gap by equipping participants with practical skills that can open pathways to employment, freelancing, and continued learning.
